Refund and cancellation policy
This policy applies to lesson fees and deposits for Chart Foundations, the Momentum Signal Intensive, and One-to-One Chart Reviews offered by Automated Platforms.
Eligibility
Full refunds are available when we cancel a workshop and cannot offer a suitable alternate date within eight weeks. Partial refunds may apply when you cancel early under the timeframes below. Consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law still apply where services fail to meet a reasonable standard.
Timeframes
- Intensive deposit: fully refundable if you cancel in writing at least 14 days before the first session.
- Intensive after that window: deposit retained; unused session fees may be credited to a later intake within six months if a seat exists.
- Foundations evening: full refund if cancelled at least 7 days ahead; no refund within 7 days except for documented medical emergency.
- Chart Review: full refund if cancelled at least 48 hours ahead; late cancellations forfeit the session fee.
Non-refundable items
Printed workbooks once distributed, completed private review time, and third-party room costs already incurred for a private booking are non-refundable.
Process
Email info@automated-platforms.digital with your name, lesson, and payment reference. We confirm eligibility within five business days and process approved refunds to the original payment method within ten business days.
Rescheduling and no-shows
One complimentary reschedule is allowed for Chart Reviews if requested 48 hours ahead. No-shows without notice forfeit the fee. Intensive students who miss a session may collect materials afterward but sessions are not individually refunded.
Work already started
Once an Intensive intake has begun, refunds cover only unused future sessions at our discretion after materials costs, and only when withdrawal is requested before the midpoint of the programme.
