What we teach

Momentum as a craft of marks, not a feed of tips

Technical analysis training here means sitting with charts, measuring range against recent bars, and writing the rule you believed was in force. We focus on momentum signal interpretation: when expansion is trustworthy, when a pullback fails cleanly, and when continuation is still owned by the prior thrust.

Sessions run from our teaching room in Pennant Hills. You leave with annotated examples from recent Australian sessions and a checklist you can open before the next open — not an alert service or brokerage arrangement.

How evenings run

Printed charts first, screens second

Each Intensive evening opens with a marking drill on paper so the eye learns structure before indicators crowd the view. Tutors circulate, check swing labels, and only then project a live chart for group critique.

  1. Pre-read on thrust and volume arrives before week one.
  2. Six sessions cover filters, failures, and replay drills.
  3. Peer review of two of your own annotated ideas.

What students notice after they slow the marks

“I used to chase every wide candle after the open. The Intensive forced me to measure range against the prior ten bars and wait for follow-through. I still overtrade on news days, but the false starts dropped enough that my journal is finally readable.”

Helen M. · Part-time ASX trader, Hornsby · Momentum Signal Intensive

“The review caught that I skipped volume confirmation whenever the first thrust looked clean. Hearing that said back to me was uncomfortable and useful.”

Rajiv S. · Futures desk, Sydney CBD · One-to-One Chart Review

“I needed swing vocabulary before the longer course. The evening was paced for people who mark by hand, not for people hunting shortcuts.”

Claire P. · Self-directed investor, Castle Hill · Chart Foundations Evening
