Keeping a momentum journal that helps
Most traders photograph charts. Fewer write the rule they believed was in force at the entry. Without that sentence, review sessions turn into hindsight stories.
Use three lines per idea: the signal type (thrust, failure, continuation), the filter that allowed it, and the one filter you nearly ignored. Date the entry and leave a blank for the outcome filled only after the trade closes or is abandoned.
Once a week, sort the pages by filter, not by profit. You will see which rules you actually follow under pressure. That list becomes the agenda for a Chart Review appointment.
We supply a one-page template in the Intensive workbook. Students who stick to it for six weeks usually arrive at reviews with sharper questions and fewer vague regrets.
